ABOUT US



Founded in 2010 by director/writer Lara Celenza, Kalifilm Productions creates cutting-edge films and music videos. Our work has been featured in film & media festivals all over the world, from Istanbul to Los Angeles, winning multiple awards and gaining industry recognition. We are about to release our first feature film “Lost in the City” - a drama about a deranged homeless man who struggles for survival on the streets of Berlin. Meanwhile, we are developing our second feature-length project, road movie/drama “The Dope Show” (to find out more, visit the Development page). In addition to our own projects, we also take clients and commissioned work - mainly music videos, but also showreel films for actors, commercials and corporate videography bookings all over Europe. Based in Berlin, Europe's tech hub, we support the blockchain and welcome payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero and other crypto currencies. In 2021, we received the Best Film Production Company Award as part of the European Enterprise Awards by EU Business News and the Berlin & East Germany Prestige Award for Best Film Production Company 2021/22 by Corporate LiveWire.
